Company is a beautifully intimate, personal play about an individual searching for something they are told they need, but don't know what it is. Sondheim wrote this play to explore the difficulties of healthy relationships as relationships get harder. With the onslaught of dating apps, social media and covid, this play asks us to consider what it means to be present with someone else, whether we know what we want, and how we are vulnerable with each other.
